A cozy Christmas porch with VinYet Etc.

Christmas porch tour - VinYet Etc.

Hello and welcome to our humble abode! If this is your first time here, thanks for stopping in, even if this is not your first time thank you so very much for taking the time out of your busy lives and stopping to have a visit, we truly appreciate it! This might be the fastest tour this season… Oh I had big plans of course, haha. What is that saying? The best laid plans… regardless I wanted to share our porch and I also wanted to share some hints as to what we would be up to for 2017.

I love the dusting of snow in this little porch corner, a light dusting makes everything prettier doesn’t it? I still love that snowflake pillow I made, I used one of my Dad’s army blankets to make it… if you want to see how I did it you can see more here.

I decided to be very simple out on the porch this year…  I am loving the the buffalo check ribbon and am putting it everywhere! HA Who knew fire wood could be so pretty?!

What’s happening in 2017?

Bud and I have been together for many years, since 1982… when we first started dating Bud owned some classic cars and we would DIY the interiors, upholstery, painting you name it we DIYed it. NOT experts by any stretch but we have always had the same dream, to own a classic truck… this year we bought our dream truck and you will be seeing some glimpses and the evolution of this beauty! She’s in perfect shape (good bones) and has even stared in a movie! HAHA! But that really is a story for another day.

This little face… OMG I can’t stand how cute she is! This little lady is the newest member of our family and you will for sure be seeing some more of this face in 2017… she’s a darling little girl. We named her Dodi and we named her that because I’m a chronic nicknamer… that was the only reason. But I received a lovely message from a friend and she informed me that Dodi is actually Hebrew for, my beloved. I nearly melted and of course it is! AWWWWWW

She’s our little Monkey, it’s very hard to get a crisp photo of her, she likes to move! This is her “helping” with Christmas.

Vintage Camper restoration - VinYet Etc.

There is one more big thing we will be up to this coming year… this is something I am incredibly excited about! We will be restoring a vintage camper!!! You will hear about all of the details in January and we hope you will follow us on that journey.  Sorry for the bad photo… phone pics don’t always work out. 😉

AND finally…

Bud and I will be starting a YouTube channel, oh my stars, I hope I can stop laughing like a maniac to actually post good content! haha… we are crazy, it’s sure to be a show… of some kind! 😉

Your porch is beautiful and I can’t wait for 2017 to get here already so I can see what you do with that camper! OMG it’s a dream of mine too, not that anyone would actually go camping with me. Maybe I could guilt one of the kids into it….

Wow! This post is filled with fun news. Hubby and I owned a 1968 Ford Mustang once upon a time ~ being the owner of a classic vehicle was so much fun! I have swooned over your snowflake pillow from the first time I saw it so you can imagine my excitement when I saw you had posted a link on how you made it. I pinned it as quickly as I could and I will definitely be making some of these for next Christmas! I also look forward to seeing how you restore the vintage trailer come the New Year. Oh and btw, puppy is seriously too cute 😍
