It’s the first Saturday of the month, if you’ve been hanging out with the Cozy Living team for awhile you know what that means! If this is your first time here, let me fill you in. It’s time for myself and my cozy loving friends to share all of our hygge ways with you. This month I am sharing our cozy Spring cabinet filled with all of my vintage finds. I hope you will enjoy it and please hang out until the end to see what my clever friends are up to! But first, let’s find out more about the cozy living team.

Cozy Living

This cozy living series is hosted by Jennifer, she’s the brains behind this whole series and she shares her creativity over at Town & Country Living.  We are the #cozylivningteam , a group of cozy loving friends that simply love to share how we live a hygge life. There are so many inspiring and creative ways to live a cozy life.

Cozy Antique Cabinet

This cabinet captured my heart as soon as I spied it in a little shop in Ontario. It was LOVE at first site, I really had to have it!  SO, for my 50th birthday I bought it for myself! Maybe one of the only things I’ve never felt any guilt about splurging on. 😉  This cabinet gets all of the attention in our kitchen and I get to play with her every change of season. This Spring I wanted to add Easter elements and Spring time colours!

I mean, it’s rustic perfection and the colour of the wood gives just the right cozy vibes to our home.  This vintage thrifted Ball jar is so pretty and really pops against the wood,  the best Springtime add don’t you think?  I shared this on Instagram and apparently this jar’s colour isn’t super common.

Adding ribbon to contrast that colour adds instant cozy!

Behind The Glass

Little peeks of all the Spring colours inside.

Old fashioned stacked plates on a pretty scale, Easter Bunnies and lots of texture, sigh.

For me there is something cozy and old fashion about seeing treasures in behind rippled and bubbled glass, it’s a little like window shopping, peeking at all of the goodies.

This contrast and cozy texture just makes me happy!

Do you love bringing tulips into your home for spring? Me too! 😉

Let’s Peek Inside

The warm wood inside of the cabinet, it’s one of my favourite things!

I LOVE, to the point of obsession that European Hare print, OMGoodness!!! I bought it from a Canadian artist on Etsy, you can see more from her, here I glued it on to a textured vintage photo sleeve, I simply love how it looks with the bold line offset from the bunny card. I also love the fact that this past winter we found an abandoned nest… I knew I needed it in my home somewhere. I’m glad it found a perfect spot in the cabinet.

OBSESSED!

I can’t find the real deal vintage chocolate molds (that aren’t a bajillion dollars) so I bought a reproduction bunny mold, I mean she looks close enough to me to pass for the real deal, I love it.  I made some jute carrots years ago for a client’s shop… I made an extra one for myself and I really have to make myself  some more. I adore the cozy textures here.

Butter pats have stolen my heart! So sweet when they are stacked, a new to me obsession! 😉

More butter pats, really can you have too many? I say, NOPE!  Pretty stacked dessert plates on a vintage scale, simple cozy pleasures!

Green has been my jam for many years now… I’m so glad I’m not out growing the love of this colour in all of it’s shades!

I treasure my Mother’s flowered china  – (dishes her Mother gave to her), the colours are so Spring like.  They make me think of Mom, she loved Spring SO much!

An ironstone bunny sitting on top of textured jute and ribbon. I had to have this little bunny, especially since it was only one dollar! I’m crushing on those whimsical bunny ears in the milk glass behind him too.

This green scale was a Facebook marketplace find, again with the green, it was the perfect add to hold up those pretty plates.

The sweetest postcard, just has the best message and the colours are perfect!

I told you, I’m obsessed with that hare! 😉

Spring has sprung!

I’ve been collecting advertising jars and jam jars for many years now, of course some of them have to make an appearance in our cabinet, I mean they are so darn cute.

Thank you so much for stopping in to see our Cozy Spring Cabinet, I hope you’ve enjoyed the vintage treasures in our kitchen cabinet. xo

I just love looking at all the goodies you have in your cabinet. Good for you buying yourself a birthday present. I may just do that myself this year.

Thanks Dawn! You totally have to, it’s one of the only times i’ve splurged and she was (so was I) worth it! 😉

If I had to choose one person to go treasure hunting with – it would be you – hands down! The cabinet is gorgeous and you’ve somehow made it look even better with your arrangements. You’re not the only one obsessed with that rabbit print! I went to her Etsy store hoping to find another one!
